Key Responsibilities

Produce and analyse daily trade P&L reports, ensuring accuracy of trading positions, inventory valuations and working capital performance. Support month-end close, management reporting, financial analysis and business decision-making. Maintain strong financial controls, compliance standards, audit readiness and risk management practices.

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting efficiencies across finance operations. Partner closely with trading, logistics, operations and finance teams to improve performance and resolve business challenges. Monitor commercial exposures, identify risks and provide timely reporting and escalation where required.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience Relevant BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 2–4 years' experience within a commercial finance environment. Strong understanding of profitability reporting, financial analysis, and accounting principles. Exposure to trading, inventory, commodity, agricultural, or supply chain environments will be advantageous.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Professional finance studies or memberships will be beneficial. Technical Skills Financial reporting and reconciliations. Strong analytical and numerical abilities. Risk awareness and commercial acumen. Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems. Exposure to SAP or similar enterprise platforms advantageous.
