Facilities Maintenance Worker II (Lake Piru Recreation Area)

DEFINITION Working individually or as a member of a crew, this intermediate position performs semiskilled and skilled tasks in the System Maintenance division. Demonstrate knowledge in water system operations and maintenance; the abilities to work unsupervised and effectively communicate; and display initiative, versatility and innovation in performing work assignments.

Typical duties include the installation, maintenance and repair of pipelines and appurtenances, light construction in a variety of trades, heavy equipment operation, facility maintenance and pipeline location services.
