IT Operations and Administration Technician
Job description
We are looking for an IT Operations and Administration Technician to complete our consultants Workforce Management Service to support the TEC department of the European Space Agency (ESA) at their location in Redu, Belgium. Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries).
Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage). Please note that this position is intended to be filled on a part-time basis. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: Provide 1st/2nd level support on client ICT incidents; Fulfil client ICT service requests; Prepare, configure and maintain PCs; Prepare, configure and maintain mobile phones and tablets; Prepare, configure and maintain mobile offices; Prepare and configure desk phones; Install, administer and maintain the network and telecommunication infrastructure of, including a LAN and a WAN; Support and maintain the Internet access, the wireless networks, VoIP and Videoconferencing solutions; Perform upgrades and replacement of Network and Voice/Video infrastructure components; Prepare, configure and maintain network switches and perform required cabling and patch panel changes; Prepare and configure USB sticks and tokens; Ensure CMDB maintenance throughout the users assets’ lifecycle.

Certificate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support or system administration, preferably in an education/training or laboratory environment; Knowledge Windows OS; Familiarity with client hardware (laptops, mobile phones, tablets); Knowledge of Windows OS remote deployments; Knowledge of Network management and automation; Knowledge of troubleshooting LAN, WAN, wireless and collaboration environments; Experience working in an ITIL environment; Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
