Job description
• Supervision and coordination of Material and Corrosion Engineering of EPC Contractors,
- Project and cost management in liaison with other disciplines,
- Technical papers preparation to support management position for clarifications/ decisions with regulatory authorities of host countries, other entities or partners,
- Deviation requests coordination to the project referential, in a timely manner and with due consideration to cost and schedule,
- Participation during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, HAZOP reviews, constructability review and design/model review meetings,
- Review of Material and Corrosion documents in accordance with industry standards, codes and Total. Energies specifications such as MSD, etc,
- Ensure the respect of the technical rules on construction discipline (correct usage of Total. Energies’s General Specifications and international norms),
- Ensure all interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered,
- Support to possible technical queries and derogations to Project specifications (technical, costs, planning, interfaces, reporting),
- Contribution to the evaluation of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and review/approval of deliverables from the design contractor (Engineering drawings, calculation notes, specifications, procedures...),
- To comply with HSE requirements and to support and enforce the HSE Project objectives and directives,
- To support and implement the Project HSE management system (plans, procedure and specifications).
Requirements
- In Material and Corrosion in oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields – 15 years minimum is required
- In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (Basic and Detailed Engineering, Construction, etc)
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Materials/Metallurgy, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related disciplines
- Knowledge of corrosion degradation mechanisms and experience in corrosion monitoring and analysis.
- Hands on experience on Corrosion rate calculation on software like Predict, ECE, etc Key Skills Needed:
