Company Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Stairlift Engineer to join our team in Winchester, United Kingdom. As a Stairlift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals with mobility challenges by installing, maintaining, and repairing stairlift systems in residential and commercial settings.

Install new stairlift systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of existing stairlift installations Diagnose and repair faults in stairlift systems, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components Provide clear explanations and demonstrations to clients on the safe operation of their stairlift Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and building codes Collaborate with the customer service team to schedule appointments and address client concerns Stay updated on the latest stairlift technologies and industry best practices Manage inventory of parts and tools, reporting any shortages or requirements Travel to various locations within Winchester and surrounding areas to attend to client needs NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a related field Proven experience in stairlift installation, maintenance, and repair Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Physical fitness and capability to lift heavy objects safely Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the job area Knowledge of various stairlift models and brands Understanding of accessibility regulations and building codes related to stairlift installations Relevant health and safety certifications, such as Working at Heights Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements #PLK #LK We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive high numbers of applications for the role.
