COMPANY INFORMATION Our client Tatu City is Kenya’s first operational Special Economic Zone. It is owned and developed by Rendeavour which is the largest new city builder in Africa. Backed by American, Norwegian, New Zealand and British investors, Tatu City is one of the largest construction projects in East Africa and serves as a regional centre for businesses, homes, education and recreation across five thousand acres of infrastructure ready space.

The current development value exceeds one point two billion United States dollars and includes industrial, residential, office and school projects that are operational or under construction. Tatu City provides a secure and predictable environment for individuals and businesses and is home to investments from CDC, International Finance Corporation, major banks and a broad range of local and international real estate developers and funders.

The city is designated as a Project of Strategic National Importance under the Physical and Land Use Planning Regulations and is a flagship Vision Twenty Thirty private sector development. It is gazetted as a Special Planning Area. ROLE PURPOSE The Real Estate Advisor – Jabali focuses on identifying new sales leads, managing site visits and driving the sales of residential developments within Tatu City Jabali.

The role includes participating in fairs, exhibitions and presentations to promote residential offerings. It also requires supporting the Head of Sales and Deputy Head of Sales in executing strategies and action plans that strengthen sales performance for the Jabali residential portfolio. The position is suited to a commercially minded professional with strong sales ability, excellent customer engagement skills and an active interest in real estate within both local and international markets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing and converting qualified leads for Jabali residential developments, including off plan apartments and lifestyle residences. Conducting site visits, client walkthroughs, and investment briefings for both local and international buyers. Actively prospecting and closing high value residential transactions within defined sales targets.

Engaging diaspora clients through virtual presentations, structured follow ups, and trust-based advisory conversations. Prospecting, originating and closing sales at Tatu City Jabali. Assisting the Head of Sales and Deputy Head of Sales in planning and coordinating open days or other initiatives to develop new leads and increase sales.

Developing well-established links with agencies and brokerage firms to support the sales process and drive performance. Performing administrative duties and attending seminars or trade show exhibitions to receive market insights and generate leads. Assisting the Head of Sales and Deputy Head of Sales in hosting client presentations to expand the Jabali client database.

Developing and maintaining relationships with clients while understanding their property needs. Collating market data and intelligence on all Rendeavour key markets in Kenya and providing quarterly reports on trends. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Sales or Deputy Head of Sales.

Maintaining accurate records of leads, interactions, and conversions within the CRM system.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience selling off plan residential developments, preferably within luxury or master planned communities. Exposure to high value transactions, with experience selling units in the multi-million shilling range. Experience engaging diaspora buyers and managing long-cycle, trust-driven sales processes.

Minimum of three years’ experience in residential real estate sales, property development sales, or luxury real estate advisory. Strong understanding of residential investment drivers, pricing structures, and buyer profiling. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in sales, marketing or business studies in a recognized institution would be an added advantage.

Wide and productive network in the Kenyan business circles. Over 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing of real estate, banking or insurance products or liaising with companies on real estate or business development matters. Soft Skills Mature, pragmatic and flexible approach, strong commercial judgment. Team player but comfortable working autonomously.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Good negotiation skills. Good attention to detail. Rigorous and organized approach. Hands-on, ready to roll up the sleeves.
