Account Receivables (AR) / O2C Specialist

Your New Company This company is a global MNC Shared Services Centre, providing end-to-end support across Finance, HR, and Operations. Serving regions including APAC, EMEA, and the Americas, we enable business excellence through standardized processes, automation, and cross-border collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Invoicing Generate accurate and timely customer invoices based on sales contracts or orders. Ensure compliance with tax requirements (e.g., SST, VAT) and internal policies. Cash Application & Allocation Process incoming payments (cheques, bank transfers, electronic payments). Apply payments to customer accounts correctly and resolve misapplied or unidentified receipts.

Collections & Customer Management Proactively follow up on overdue accounts to reduce aged debt. Handle customer queries professionally and resolve billing or payment disputes. Maintain strong relationships with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service) and external clients Credit Management Perform credit checks, set credit limits, and assess credit risk profiles.

Support credit hold/release decisions and escalate high-risk accounts. Reporting & Compliance Prepare AR aging reports, cash forecasting, and DSO tracking. Support internal and external audit requests with accurate documentation. Ensure SOX/internal controls compliance (if applicable). Salary Range : MYR 7,000

• MYR 10,000 Requirements Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field. Experience: 4–7 years in AR or O2C roles, preferably in Shared Services or MNC environment. Systems: Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Tools: Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), familiarity with automation tools (e.g. RPA, Power BI) is a plus.

Qualifications

(ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ICAEW) Professional Accountants are preferred.
