Job description
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering ● 7+ years experience in automotive industry product development (CHASSIS) ● Design Release experience for automotive components/systems/subsystems (Feasibility and Launch experience are desired) ● Product Design, Testing, GD&T, Specs&Requirements, Tooling, etc.
● Experienced in Organized Problem Solving (Development & Field Issues), finding root cause and application of Containment and Permanent Solution ● User level knowledge of CAD Software for part and interface analysis (not design) ● Basic knowledge of the SOR, FMEA, Spec Book, Design Validation, Engineering Change processes.
Advanced knowledge is desired. ● User level knowledge of Teamcenter ● User level knowledge of Atalassian Jira desired ● Independent expert: Can do tasks with minimum supervision ● Capability to understand, based on evidence, if: 1.issue investigations are complete, 2.issues are contained and customers are protected. ● Knowledge to integrate different Vehicle parts to meet the design standards and specifications ● Results oriented approach ● Teamwork ● Demonstrate a high degree of resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a data driven approach.
● Communications: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels in business. Yêu cầu ● Lead Engineer works in a specific Engineering Inspection funtion all across company's portfolio and phases of product development. ● Inspect and audit engineering documentations such as SOR, SPB, DVP, DFMEA and ECR, including the application of the learning database.
● Assist Investigations, Assist dealers ans drive the resolution for complex field issues, analyse in the builds ● Assist Engineering Risk Assessment Audit (ESOM) and Capture learnings for future models. ● Audit Engineering Documentation (SOR, DFMEA, Spec Book, ECR and DVP plan) ● Audit Test Reports (DVPRs), making sure acceptance criteria (and deviation, if any) regarding Specifications are well documented ● Audit PHC (Program Health Check) on Engineering Inspection deliverables ● Audit complex Engineering issues solution process during all program lifecycle ● Capture Learnings across model development and build phases to be applied cross model (continuous improvement)
- Learning Database governance ● Audit Engineering Sign Off (Drive Engineering to complete all risk assessment and release ESOM)
