Head of Business Development - Vietnam
Job description
Our client is one of the largest global advisory and insurance brokers in the world. We are currently partnering them to look for a Head of Business Development in Vietnam. The Head of Business Development is responsible to drive growth for both HCMC and Hanoi in a team co-ordinated & consistent approach for both sales & marketing across all product lines.
Responsibilities
New Business Development Be responsible for developing new client portfolio, market observations and product development Develop risk solutions consulting for clients, focus on H&B products and services, including but not limited to Brokerage, Global Wellness and HR Advisory Be responsible for design of go-to market strategy, carrier negotiations and agreements, including maintenance of carrier and market relationships Ensure sales process in compliance with the Company requirements RFP Management Manage the preparation of bids and tenders for new business Identify and manage appropriate resources and team support to develop, package and price custom solutions Coordinate legal / senior management sign-off on bids and proposals, placement of supplier orders, and acceptance of customer orders.
Analyze development opportunities and suggest annual marketing prospection plan within framework of the assigned area Build and maintain effective long-term client relationships and a high level of client satisfaction by cooperating with other departments to ensure key claim settlement or client complaint handling. Ensure premium to be collected on time and in compliance with Company procedures and legislation Team Management Develop, or support teams in the development of, client strategies to deepen, broaden and build profitable relationships including the addition of other H&B services on existing clients Train, coach and support team members to ensure their performance compliance with PRD as well as target achievement Conduct periodic performance review and provide support for individual development plan of team members Requirements To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines and at least 8 years of relevant experience within the Insurance Brokerage industry.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate successful track record in a sales management role and has excellent communication & interpersonal skills to engage people at all levels. The candidate is results-driven and has in-depth knowledge of sales methodology and processes. Lastly, you are fluent in both English & Vietnamese as you are expected to liaise with Vietnamese speaking counterparts and clients.
