Job description
The Design Engineer II represents a high level of technical expertise to internal and external customers in a variety of forms that include design assistance, delivering education, and enabling the customer to do business with Scan. Source. The focus of the position may be on specified technologies, or on a specific group of customers.
This role is expected to be an expert in their focus area and will act as a trusted advisor to the company's customers. This individual would have detailed knowledge of a given product line, from software and hardware perspective and the connectivity issues associated with these products. This person would know the past product family along with updating their knowledge on a going forward basis.
