Maintenance Worker I - G114 - Repairs and Maintenance

This position performs street maintenance and repair duties. Constructs or repairs driveways, speed bumps, spill ways, cuts, overlays, edge ruts, and potholes. Sets up work related signs and traffic cones; directs traffic at work sites. Spreads, smoothes, and shapes asphalt. Operates wheelbarrow to transport asphalt; applies asphalt as appropriate.

Loads and unloads truck with proper materials. Applies tar. Operates roller and dump truck. Cleans truck and other equipment. Grades ground for concrete work; sets up concrete forms. Assists in the cleaning and maintenance of the fleet yard. Performs other related duties as assigned.
