Job description

On behalf of financial services technology client, we are looking to hire an experienced Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a steady, detail-oriented finance professional seeking a long-term role with flexibility and autonomy. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager will oversee all day-to-day financial operations for a small but growing business.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys end-to-end responsibility across bookkeeping, payroll oversight, and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations, including bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims Oversee outsourced payroll and ensure timely, accurate completion each month Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory returns Support month-end close and management accounts preparation Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Accounting Technician, Part-Qualified/ Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or equivalent 10+ years’ experience in an SME or similar hands-on finance environment Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll processes Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to work Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities Why Apply?
