Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced SDET / Automation QA Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in UI and API test automation.
The professional wng, and maintaining scalable automated testing solutions using Java, Playwright, Selenium, and TestNG. The role requires solid knowledge of software testing principles, test planning, defect management, and Agile development practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for web applications and REST APIs. • Create and execute automated UI test scenarios using Playwright and Selenium. • Develop API automation tests for REST-based services. • Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks. • Develop automated test scripts using Java and TestNG. • Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and results analysis. • Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of software defects. • Collaborate with developers, product teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. • Support functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities. • Contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and automation coverage. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and software delivery activities.
Required Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in Java. • Hands-on experience with Playwright. • Experience with Selenium for UI test automation. • Experience testing REST APIs. • Strong knowledge of TestNG. • Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks. • Practical experience with both UI and API automation. • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Required Functional Skills
• Experience with test case design and execution. • Experience with test planning and test strategy activities. • Knowledge of defect identification, documentation, and tracking processes. • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams. • Advanced English communication skills.
Resume Requirements
The resume must clearly demonstrate hands-on experience with Java, Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, UI automation, and REST API testing. Candidates should describe the automation frameworks they have designed or maintained, the types of applications and APIs tested, their participation in test planning and defect management, and their experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. The technologies must be associated with specific projects, responsibilities, companies, and periods of experience.
