Job description
Survey Party chief Reports directly to Survey Team Leader and receives project assignments and directions from various Survey Project Managers. Responsible for completion of various field surveying assignments by using procedures and techniques appropriate to the task assignment. Clearly and legibly records all pertinent field notes and information in proper field books as required depending on task assignment.
Field Crew Leaders are responsible for training, direct supervision and safety of all field technicians as assigned. Ensures all appropriate safety procedures, precautions, P.P.E. and traffic control devices are properly placed prior to start of daily field survey operations. Responsible for organization, maintenance, and safe operation of assigned survey vehicles.
