Senior Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations of a property development group, with responsibility across financial reporting, project accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management. The role plays a key part in ensuring strong financial governance while supporting strategic decision-making for ongoing and future development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full set accounts, month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of group financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Oversee project costing, work-in-progress (WIP), and ensure proper revenue recognition under Percentage of Completion (POC) method Manage annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial feasibility studies for development projects and land acquisitions Monitor group cash flow position, funding requirements, and banking facilities, including loan drawdowns and interest management Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulators to ensure compliance with statutory and financial reporting requirements Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance framework across the group Lead, supervise, and develop finance team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and continuous process improvement Requirements Degree / professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / CIMA preferred) 8–12 years finance experience in property development / construction / real estate / infrastructure Strong knowledge of MFRS (especially revenue recognition) Experience in project accounting, WIP, and POC method Leadership experience and strong stakeholder management ERP system experience (SAP / Oracle) is an advantage
