  • Strategy, Research & Business Intelligence Job Description Summary Job Description Role Overview This role will lead strategic analytics, research, and business intelligence initiatives, acting as a key partner to senior leadership. The individual will drive high-impact insights, shape business strategy, and oversee execution excellence across client deliverables, while building scalable processes and capabilities. Core Competencies Executive-level communication and storytelling (written & verbal) Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of business drivers Strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth initiatives Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities Leadership and team-building skills with experience managing high-performing teams Expertise in data management, dashboarding, and visualization tools Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Impact Lead the development of data-driven strategies to support business growth, client acquisition, and market positioning Identify emerging trends, whitespace opportunities, and growth areas across the commercial real estate landscape Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights that influence key business decisions Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence Oversee and elevate the quality of all client presentations, strategic reports, and deliverables Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-value advisory solutions Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness across all outputs Stakeholder Management & Collaboration Partner with senior leaders across business lines (Leasing, Capital Markets, Valuations, Project Management, Consulting) to drive integrated solutions Influence and align cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic priorities Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead and mentor a team of 10–15+ resources, fostering a high-performance and learning-driven environment Build and scale team capabilities in analytics, research, and visualization Establish clear governance, workflows, and quality benchmarks Data, Analytics & Technology Enablement Drive centralization, governance, and advanced analysis of large datasets Lead the development and adoption of dashboards (Power BI and other tools) for business intelligence and decision-making Champion digital transformation initiatives and adoption of new technologies within Tenant Rep Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership Own and drive market intelligence frameworks, including tracking of leasing trends, occupier behavior, and competitive landscape Publish periodic insights, reports, and business trackers to inform internal and external stakeholders Position the team as a center of excellence for research and analytics Process Excellence & Innovation Identify gaps in current processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives Standardize and automate workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability Lead implementation of new systems and tools aligned with business needs Experience Required 12–14 + years of experience across analytics, research, consulting, finance, or strategic advisory roles Strong preference for experience in real estate consulting, research, valuations, data analytics, business strategy, or advisory Proven track record of leading large teams, driving business outcomes, and managing senior stakeholder relationships Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) INCO: “Cushman & Wakefield”
