Job description

This unique position requires you to be on the road 14 days at a time followed by 14 days off. Running open-board in Canada/U.S.

Multiple departure days are available with an Average of 6,000 to 7,000 miles per month

Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states

Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories

Required to drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months of the year

Required to drive U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year

Additional work might be available upon request

Regional work will be required

Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol

Non-Smoking Truck Share unit

Candidate Profile:

Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience

Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license

Must be U.S. qualified

Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience

Must have a minimum of 6 months Highway17 experience

Must be able to work weekends

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion

Reliable, flexible, and punctual

Strong communication skills
