Business Development Manager(Real Estate)
Job description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building strong client relationships, and increasing company revenue. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in sales and business development within the real estate industry and possess a strong understanding of the Nigerian property market.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for managing real estate transactions, financial planning, investment analysis, budgeting, and client relationship management. The role supports the organization's property acquisition, sales, leasing, and investment activities while ensuring sound financial management, profitability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the real estate sector Generate leads and convert prospects into clients Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and partners Develop and implement effective business development and sales strategies Conduct market research and competitor analysis Prepare proposals, presentations, and business pitches Negotiate contracts and close business deals Collaborate with the marketing team to increase brand visibility Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets Maintain proper records of client interactions and sales activities Financial Management Prepare and monitor budgets for real estate projects.
Conduct financial feasibility studies and investment analyses. Analyze property investment opportunities and recommend viable options. Monitor cash flow, revenue, and project profitability. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and performance analyses. Track client payments, commissions, and outstanding balances. Assist in financial planning and cost control initiatives.
Investment & Business Development Identify new business opportunities within the real estate market. Develop strategies to increase property sales and investment returns. Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and business partners. Conduct market research and competitor analysis. Participate in networking events, exhibitions, and property showcases.
Requirements
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Estate Management, or a related field Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in business development or sales, preferably in the real estate industry Strong knowledge of the Nigerian real estate market Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets Strong networking and relationship management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools Ability to work independently and under pressure Benefits Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of real estate principles and property markets.
