＜Position Title＞ Senior Creative Media Design Specialist | Multichannel Marketing Japan ＜Working Location＞ Shinagawa HQ Position Overview The Senior Creative Media & Design Specialist develops high-impact creative solutions that support marketing, communications, product launches, and brand initiatives. This role translates business objectives and messaging into visually compelling assets across digital, print, presentation, event, and multimedia channels.
The position partners closely with marketing, communications, product, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver creative work that is aligned with brand standards, business priorities, and review requirements in a regulated environment. Main Responsibilities Concept, design, and produce creative assets for a variety of channels, including digital, print, presentations, email, social media, video, and event materials Translate business needs, messaging, and strategic objectives into clear, engaging, and visually effective design solutions Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, visual identity standards, and communication objectives Collaborate with marketing, communications, product, and cross-functional partners to understand requirements and deliver effective creative output Prepare production-ready files and manage revisions through review and approval cycles Support campaign and launch activities by developing creative concepts and executional materials Work with external vendors, agencies, photographers, videographers, and printers as needed Ensure quality control, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards and review processes Manage multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining attention to detail Contribute ideas and best practices to strengthen creative effectiveness and improve processes Stay current on design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to creative media and content development Must Haves Job Experience Typically 5 or more years of experience in creative design, media design, or a related discipline Skill / Knowledge Advanced Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as In.
Design, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Adobe Creative Suite Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of software. Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, design execution, and range across multiple media formats Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment Education Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Media Design, Marketing, or a related field, or High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience in creative media design, graphic design, or content creation, or equivalent experience Viewed Favorably Job Experience Experience in the medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industry Experience supporting marketing campaigns, product launches, or corporate communications Familiarity with brand governance, review workflows, and compliance requirements Experience with motion graphics, video editing, digital content creation, or presentation design Experience working with agencies, print vendors, or creative production partners Working Style Hybrid flexible working style.
There will be a need to regularly connect with the team in person at Shinagawa HQ at least monthly and up to 1-2 times per week.
