Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
Job description
**Companion Animal Hospital **is seeking an outgoing Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.
In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.
Schedule and compensation:
- Compensation: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a part-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. This schedule is ideal for someone looking for consistent morning hours while helping support our busiest times of the day, including lunch break coverage for our team. Availability to cover occasional Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. is also preferred.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role

Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred but not required

Proficiency in the following skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and technology

Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records

Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team

Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
