Bindery Supervisor

We're looking for a Bindery Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Morrisville, NC. If you're passionate about leadership, production operations, quality, and continuous improvement, this is your opportunity to lead a team responsible for creating premium trading card products enjoyed around the world.

🔹 Summary
The Bindery Supervisor is responsible for leading daily bindery production operations while ensuring products meet established quality, production, and safety standards. This role oversees team performance, production schedules, machine setup verification, and process execution to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is focused on developing employees, driving process improvements, and supporting production goals.
🔹 What You'll Do
- Lead daily bindery operations to ensure production schedules and customer expectations are achieved.
- Review production specifications and Job Jackets to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Verify machine setups and configurations meet production requirements.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and support production teams in resolving challenges.
- Monitor production records, reporting, and tracking documentation for accuracy.
- Ensure cutting dies, molds, and production tooling align with approved specifications.
- Generate production reports and communicate performance results to leadership.
- Create employee schedules and coordinate labor resources to support production demands.
- Verify finished products meet company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Coach, mentor, and support bindery team members to maximize performance and engagement.
- Promote safety, housekeeping, security, and compliance with company policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve production processes, productivity, and quality.
🔹 What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Degree in Engineering, Management, or related field preferred.
- Two or more years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Manufacturing, printing, packaging, or production experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
