The Medication Nurse administers methadone as prescribed, ensures medication accountability, and closely monitors patient progress.
Key responsibilities include
evaluating patients, collecting urine specimens, maintaining medical supplies, and training new nurses. The role requires an LPN/LVN or RN license, CPR and First Aid certification, and preferably experience in chemical addiction.
