Designation: Plant Head / Operations Head Location: Selu, Parbhani (Maharashtra) Reports To: COO / ED Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related field). MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Operations/Management (preferred). Experience: 17–22 years of overall experience in manufacturing/operations, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Plant Head / Operations Head to lead and manage complete plant operations. The role demands strong expertise in Production, Quality, Administration, HR, and Maintenance, along with accountability for Plant Profit & Loss. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and deliver sustainable profitability while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management: Oversee daily production activities, ensure achievement of targets, optimize resources, and maintain cost efficiency. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality systems, ensure compliance with standards, and drive continuous improvement. Maintenance: Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
Administration & HR: Manage workforce planning, recruitment, training, employee engagement, and compliance with labor laws. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a safe workplace culture. Profit & Loss Accountability: Own the plant’s P&L, monitor financial performance, control costs, and improve profitability.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and senior management to align plant operations with business objectives. Reporting & Analysis: Monitor KPIs, prepare operational and financial reports, and present performance updates to senior leadership.
Required Skills
& Experience: 17–22 years of overall experience in manufacturing/operations, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in Production, Quality, HR, Administration, Maintenance, and P&L management. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and deliver operational and financial results.
