Job Description – Deputy Manager / Manager – Blast Furnace Operations Job Title: Deputy Manager / Manager – Blast Furnace Operations Location: Bangalore, Karnataka Experience: 6–10 Years Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering (Mandatory) CTC: Up to ₹18 LPA Preferred Industry Steel Industry (First Preference) Non-Ferrous Metals Cement Glass Mandatory Skills Blast Furnace Operations (Must Have) Gas Cleaning Plant (GCP) Operations Sinter Plant Operations Production Operations Process Monitoring & Optimization Safety & Compliance Preferred Experience Candidates should have Blast Furnace Operations experience along with exposure to one or more of the following: Steelmaking Operations Rolling Mill Operations Aluminium Melting Operations Copper Furnace Operations Key Responsibilities Operate and optimize Blast Furnace operations to achieve production targets.

Monitor and manage GCP and Sinter Plant operations. Analyze process parameters and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams. Monitor KPIs and drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements

B.Tech / M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering (Mandatory). 6–10 years of relevant experience in Blast Furnace Operations. Strong knowledge of Blast Furnace, GCP, and Sinter Plant processes. Exposure to Steelmaking, Rolling Mill, Aluminium Melting, or Copper Furnace operations is preferred. Good analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
