House Float Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time

The House Float Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to all patient populations in FOUR nursing departments: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), Intensive Care/Critical Care Unit (ICU/CCU), Family Birth Center (FBC) and Emergency Department (ED). Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.

The incumbent applies the nursing process within their scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Work includes assessing, developing, and implementing an individualized plan of care in collaboration with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and the patient and/or family throughout their hospitalization while following each department-based standards of care.
