Executive Housekeeper

Executive Housekeeper | Large Luxury Safari Lodge | Kwa. Zulu-Natal Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper for a large luxury safari lodge (75 rooms) near Hluhluwe, Kwa. Zulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to maintain high housekeeping standards within a busy hotel environment.

Package & Benefits Salary: R30,000 – R35,000 per month (DOE) Accommodation provided on site Meals on duty Medical aid contribution Provident fund contributions 3 Weeks On / 1 Week Off cycle 15 days annual leave Requirements Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeping Manager within a hotel, lodge or hospitality environment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organisational and planning abilities High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards Experience with stock control, budgeting and housekeeping administration Ability to train, motivate and develop housekeeping teams Strong communication and problem-solving skills Computer literacy and experience with hospitality systems advantageous Valid driver's licence preferred Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department Ensure all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards Lead, train and manage the housekeeping team Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas Manage housekeeping schedules, rosters and departmental productivity Monitor and control departmental budgets, expenses and stock levels Maintain inventory of linen, amenities, cleaning supplies and equipment Implement and uphold health, safety and hygiene standards Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally and efficiently Drive continuous improvement within the department to enhance service standards and operational efficiency If you do not hear from us within 7 working days of submitting your application, please consider your application unsuccessful.
