Accounting Operations Specialist I

First Community is currently searching for an Accounting Operations Specialist I to perform routine operational tasks related to ACH, share drafts, wires, disputes, legal orders, and payment modernization initiatives while developing working knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Additionally, maintains working knowledge of all Accounting functions for backup purposes. Has the responsibility to execute the daily functions of the Accounting Department, which includes but is not limited to the preparation of vouchers, subsidiaries, wires, and general ledger entries.

This is an on-site position, currently based out of our Copperfield location.

An associates degree is preferred with a minimum of one year of accounting or related experience required.
