Reservist Disaster Relief Registered Nurse

We are currently building a team of Reservist Disaster Nurses —compassionate, skilled professionals ready to deliver emergency healthcare and recovery support after natural disasters, public health emergencies, or mass-casualty events.

Location: Nationwide (assignments may vary) Employment Type: Per-diem / On-call (activated during disasters) Key Responsibilities Provide acute and primary nursing care in shelters, field hospitals, or mobile clinics. Assess, triage, and treat patients; administer medications, vaccinations, wound care, IV therapy, and emergency interventions.

Deploy quickly (24–72 hrs) to austere environments with limited resources; collaborate with response teams. Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA; assist with referrals and health education. Participate in preparedness training and serve as a resource to staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license; BSN preferred. 2+ years of clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or public health preferred. BLS and ACLS required; FEMA ICS 100/200 and PALS preferred.

Requirements

Skills & Requirements Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills under pressure. Ability to deploy quickly, work flexible schedules, and function with minimal supervision. Valid Real ID, Driver’s License, or Passport. Must pass federal background check, drug test, and meet physical fitness standards.

Willing to work up to 7 days/week for 2–6 weeks. Previous disaster relief experience is encouraged but not required.
