AWS Infrastructure Developer (Terraform / AWS)
Job description
We are seeking a hands-on AWS Infrastructure Developer with strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AWS cloud services, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure supporting modern applications running on AWS. This role requires deep technical expertise in Terraform, AWS services, automation, and DevOps best practices, along with a strong focus on security, reliability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform (HCL). Build reusable and scalable Infrastructure as Code modules for multiple environments. Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure following AWS best practices. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
Develop AWS Lambda functions using Node.js / TypeScript. Manage and optimize AWS networking, storage, security, and edge services. Configure and maintain services including CloudFront, Cognito, WAF, ALB, S3, and Lambda@Edge. Ensure infrastructure follows security, compliance, and governance standards. Monitor production environments and improve observability.
Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency. Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues. Participate in an on-call rotation and provide production support when required.
Requirements
AWS Infrastructure Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Experience with: AWS Cognito AWS WAF CloudFront Lambda@Edge AWS Lambda Amazon S3 Application Load Balancer (ALB) Infrastructure as Code Strong experience with Terraform. Excellent knowledge of HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL). Experience designing reusable Terraform modules.
Experience managing multiple environments (Dev/Test/UAT/Production). Programming Strong scripting/programming skills in: Node.js TypeScript Experience developing AWS Lambda functions. DevOps Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of automated deployment strategies. Experience with source control (Git).
Monitoring & Operations Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Ability to troubleshoot production environments. Comfortable participating in production support and on-call rotations. Security Strong understanding of AWS security best practices. Identity and Access Management (IAM). Infrastructure security.
Secure cloud architecture. Security-first mindset. Cost Optimization Experience optimizing AWS infrastructure costs. Understanding of cloud resource utilization and performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in enterprise cloud environments. Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework. AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer) are a plus. Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
