Job description
The Metal Detector Officer is responsible for maintaining safety and security at the facility by monitoring the Control Desk entrance, operating the metal detector, screening all individuals entering the building, and conducting searches for contraband in accordance with agency policies and procedures. This position ensures proper entry and exit procedures are followed, maintains visitor and security documentation, and remains alert to any potential safety concerns while providing professional and respectful communication to staff, visitors, vendors, and residents.
