JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Wooster, OH Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Oct 05, 2026 – Jan 04, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: 4 days per week, 8:00 – 17:00 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Volume/Census: ~15 patients per day FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Reason for Coverage: Vacancy due to retirement PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 2-3 months JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Ohio license (IMLC not accepted) Board: Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultations and follow-up care.

Manage chemotherapy and infusion treatments, including patient monitoring. Collaborate with nursing staff, nurse practitioners, and support team to coordinate patient care. Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings with dietician, social work, and pharmacy.
