The Opportunity As a Master Data Management Specialist, you will play a key role in defining and advancing Opella's global master data strategy. Working across business and technology teams, you will champion data quality, governance, analytics, and continuous improvement to ensure data remains a strategic asset that supports growth and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a data governance professional who enjoys influencing stakeholders, driving change, and creating sustainable data management practices within a global environment. What You'll Be Doing Drive Master Data Strategy Support the development and execution of Opella's global master data strategy across key business domains. Lead Data Governance Initiatives Establish and promote master data governance frameworks, standards, policies, and best practices. Enhance Data Quality Define, monitor, and improve data quality metrics and KPIs to ensure trusted and reliable data. Deliver Insights Through Analytics Analyze master data trends and performance indicators to support informed business decision-making. Partner Across Functions Collaborate with business, IT, security, and operational teams to align data objectives with business priorities. Support Regulatory Compliance Help ensure master data practices comply with privacy, security, and corporate governance requirements. Drive Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to optimize processes, strengthen governance, and improve the overall maturity of data management capabilities.
What You'll Bring
Key Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Significant experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Management within a complex organization. Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, stewardship models, and data quality principles.
Experience working with enterprise data management, MDM, ERP, or governance technologies. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across global, cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and recommendations. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
