Role summary
Serve as a senior technical contributor focused on the design, development, and operational stability of integrations across the Finance ecosystem. Deliver production‑ready Oracle EBS Financial solutions that integrate with upstream and downstream systems, prioritize data integrity and compliance, and improve system reliability through automation and modern engineering practices.
Core responsibilities Design & develop: Build and maintain full‑stack EBS Financial applications and services, implementing robust, maintainable code. Integrations: Implement and enhance integrations between Oracle Finance and external systems, ensuring data consistency and scalability. Observability: Add logging, metrics, and tracing to services to enable monitoring, alerting, and faster incident diagnosis.
Automation: Apply automation and intelligent workflows to accelerate testing, deployment, and quality assurance. Compliance: Ensure solutions meet SOX, audit, tax, and internal security requirements. Production support: Own incident response and resolution for Finance applications within SLA targets. Documentation & collaboration: Produce clear technical documentation and work closely with Finance and IT stakeholders; provide technical guidance to peers and junior engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience: 7–10+ years working with Oracle E‑Business Suite R12, with hands‑on experience in Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Purchasing, Inventory). Database & PL/SQL: Deep PL/SQL expertise; experience developing and optimizing large‑scale code, performance tuning, distributed queries, and DB links.
EBS technologies: Experience with Forms, Reports, Workflow, OAF, and FRICEW components. Integration & APIs: Practical experience with SOAP and REST web services. Unix/Linux: Strong command‑line skills and scripting (Bash/Perl); familiarity with process monitoring, file systems, cron, SSH, and large file handling. Development practices: Test‑driven development, CI/CD familiarity, and production support experience.
Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; effective collaborator across multiple teams and priorities; clear technical communicator.
