Summary: The Program Assistant, SRHR plays a vital role in advancing the organisation’s sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) initiatives across Nigeria. Reporting to the Program Department, this position provides critical administrative, technical, and operational support to the SRHR desk and contributes to related thematic areas.
The role ensures program activities are implemented effectively and in alignment with established plans, timelines, and outcomes. By supporting data collection, reporting, knowledge management, and youth-focused demand generation, the Program Assistant helps strengthen program impact, accountability, and visibility. This position is essential in driving evidence-based programming and advancing SRHR outcomes for adolescents and young people.
Responsibilities
Ensure SRHR projects and program are implemented according to the approved work plans, timelines, deliverables, and expected results. Facilitate field data collection, monitoring, and evaluation activities to support accurate reporting and program tracking. Assist in the development of technical and programmatic documents, including reports, policy briefs, fact sheets, concept notes, and funding proposals.
Contribute to knowledge management efforts by producing and curating content for internal and external use, including IEC/BCC materials. Support demand generation strategies to increase access to SRHR services among adolescents and young people in Nigeria.
