Job description

Mission As our Customs & Transport Analyst, you will be the cornerstone of our international logistics and trade compliance operations. You will own end-to-end customs processes, ensure regulatory compliance across all import/export activities, and optimize our transport flows — with a high degree of independence and accountability for results.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customs & Trade Compliance

  • Manage all import and export declarations, ensuring full compliance with national and international regulations (EU, US EAR/ITAR, dual-use goods, etc.)
  • Classify products under the correct HS/HTS codes, with particular attention to UAV components and electronics
  • Obtain and maintain necessary export licenses, permits, and authorizations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and brokers
  • Prepare and review all necessary documentation for import/export activities, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin, export licenses
  • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively adapt internal procedures accordingly
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and maintain accurate trade documentation Transport & Logistics
  • Coordinate and optimize international and domestic shipments (air, sea, road) for components, assemblies, and finished UAV products
  • Negotiate rates and service agreements with carriers and logistics partners
  • Track shipments, resolve delays or incidents, and ensure on-time delivery performance
  • Analyze transport costs and identify optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with business needs Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Define and track KPIs related to customs compliance, lead times, and freight costs
  • Produce regular performance reports for management
  • Lead initiatives to improve processes, reduce costs, and mitigate supply chain risks Required Profile
  • Experience: 5+ years in customs, trade compliance, and/or international transport, ideally in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or high-tech environment
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong command of customs regulations, export control frameworks (EAR, ITAR, dual-use), Incoterms, and international transport modes
  • Autonomy: Proven ability to operate independently, manage priorities, and make decisions without constant supervision
  • Results-Oriented: Track record of delivering measurable improvements in compliance, cost, or efficiency
  • Tools: Proficiency with ERP systems, customs management software, and MS Office / Excel
  • Languages: Fluency in English required; additional languages (French, Spanish, etc.) are a plus
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications (CCS, CPTM, or equivalent) are a strong advantage What we have to offer you: An excellent work environment and an opportunity to make a difference; Salary Compatible with the level of proven experience.
