Job description
The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) provides compassionate, high-quality care to nursing home residents by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. The STNA monitors residents' physical and emotional well-being, takes and records vital signs, and promptly reports any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
Working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals, the STNA helps ensure residents receive personalized care while maintaining their dignity, comfort, and independence. The STNA also contributes to a clean, safe, and supportive environment, builds positive relationships with residents and their families, and provides emotional support to enhance each resident's overall quality of life.
