Role Profile The role sits within Index Change Team in Taipei office and working in partnership with the Index Management, Technology and Research & Analytics teams globally by pooling resources when and where necessary. The Index Change Team is part of the Strategy, Transformation & Delivery Division and is responsible for all elements of business change / operational readiness of the FTSE Russell change portfolio and works collaboratively with other global Index teams as well as the broader business functions.
The role reports into a Team Leader, based in Taipei. The role is strategic and provides User Acceptance Testing (UAT) expertise across FTSE Russell projects. It will play a key role focusing on change initiatives including business processes, technology and new products. Ultimately, it supports the company’s innovative operating model during a period of transformational growth by developing a sustainable, flexible and dynamic cross-functional approach.
This role will encompass all asset classes and data elements, working with the teams in each location and strategic partners to achieve the objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The individual will be responsible for key areas that include, but are not limited to: Ensuring that the development process is being demonstrably followed Ensuring that project deliverables meet business requirements Ensure that Project Process are followed Liaison with Development, QA and the Business Ability to create exhaustive set of test cases from requirements documents Support the development of business requirements Development of UAT Test Plans and Scripts Execution of UAT Test Scripts Production of Execution Reports Supporting the training of end users Support the creation of operational procedures Candidate Profile / Key Skills Excellent communication skills allowing an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the company and with external clients/suppliers Experience of defining test plans, test cases and execution Experience of working within a SAFE Agile development environment is advantageous.
Excellent knowledge of financial markets – Fixed Income and Equities especially Excellent Excel & SQL skills. Commercial experience implementing projects within a financial institution Good attention to detail is essential Must be able to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting tasks to complete them in the most effective way Ability to relate to commercial as well as technical staff at all levels within FTSE Russell is important Demonstrate an appetite for cross-functional experience by engaging and gaining experience with satellite teams.
