Responsibilities Performs phlebotomy procedures according to laboratory requirements to provide specimens suitable for testing.

Qualifications

Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position Working knowledge of phlebotomy Licensure, Registration, Certification: After June 1, 2012, BLS is required for hire Desired Licensure/Registration/Certification: Phlebotomy Technician through the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians, Inc (ASPT) or Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Performs phlebotomy procedures according to laboratory requirements to provide specimens suitable for testing.
