Job description
We are working on behalf of a respected surveying consultancy to recruit a Measured Building Surveyor to support the continued growth of their specialist team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile commercial, residential, and heritage sites using the latest surveying technology. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed measured building surveys using total stations and laser scanning equipment.
You will be producing accurate floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections, with a strong focus on precision and attention to detail. Projects will vary in size and complexity, offering excellent scope for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct measured building surveys using total station and laser scanning equipment Process point cloud data and produce 2D and/or 3D survey drawings Produce high-quality floor plans, elevations, sections, and internal layouts Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and ensure satisfaction Work collaboratively with the wider surveying team on multi-disciplinary projects Travel to sites as required (overnight stays may occasionally be necessary) Requirements Key Requirements: Previous experience in measured building surveying (2+ years preferred) Proficient in using surveying instruments and software (e.
