Associate Benefits Analyst – Employee Benefits Remote | South Central region or Central time zone is preferred. We’re seeking an Associate Benefits Analyst who will make a meaningful impact by delivering proactive client service, thoughtful benefits strategy, and a high-touch experience for both clients and employees.

This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Why Alera Group Meaningful Impact: Help clients and employees navigate benefits programs that drive retention, engagement, and satisfaction Growth & Learning: Opportunities to deepen your expertise and gain exposure to a variety of clients and industries Collaborative Culture: Work in a team-oriented environment that values accountability, partnership, and the principles of The Collaborative Way RESPONSIBILITIES What You’ll Do / Your Impact Client Partnership & Data Analysis Assist with placement and service of employee benefits programs for clients Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and insights Research discrepancies and resolve data-related issues Support development of employee communication and educational materials Operational Excellence Create reports, dashboards, graphs, and visualizations for recurring and ad hoc needs Maintain accuracy, completeness, and quality of all deliverables Assist with monthly carrier reporting and data tracking Load and manage proposal and plan data within internal templates and systems Strategic Contribution Collaborate with team members on reporting and analytics execution Support internal communications including proposals, reports, and presentations Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements Assist in identifying trends or insights that support client strategy QUALIFICATIONS What You Bring Required 1–3 years of experience in employee benefits, data analysis, or related field (or equivalent experience) Basic knowledge of health and welfare benefits and ACA requirements Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook required) Preferred Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or business intelligence platforms Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Project management skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Core Competencies Detail orientation Accountability and follow-through Collaborative mindset Client-first thinking ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Benefits: Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), generous PTO, and more.
