Business Function Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the virtual private cloud environment. Expertise in virtualization with v. Sphere, Vmware Esxi and virtual center server. Expertise in managing Oracle Virtualization, OVM servers. Experience in managing cloud infrastructure to provide SaaS, PaaS and LaaS.
Extensively worked on Vmotion and Storage Vmotion. Sound knowledge in ESX architecture, setting up VM priorities, Cloning and Snapshots. Knowledge of tools like Veritas Replication tool , Zerto . Experience in creating recovery plans and test DR plans. Manage capacity planning and maintenance. Work with teams to drive scalability, reliability, and performance Responsible for overseeing the incident resolution, problem management, and Change management related to Vmware environment Contribute to process efficiencies by identifying manual activities and automate them.
Participate in the audit requirements as and when conducted by the organization. Align and abide by the organizational goals. Knowledge in NAS/SAN and Net. App Filer is an added advantage ITIL processes awareness and adheres to Mentoring/Training team members Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to Requirements 10 to 20 years’ experience in managing enterprise operations team Experienced people leader with relevant technical skills to lead the team Proven ability to mentor and grow the skill set of team members Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, project and personnel management skills Independent thinking and ability to demonstrate good judgment required Education / Preferred Qualifications A degree in Computer Science or related subject is preferred Technical Competencies Strong knowledge in Vmware Esxi, Hypervisor, Networking concepts and SAN/NAS.
