Resort Manager | Luxury Private Island | Seychelles Salary: Negotiable DOE (Live-in) Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager for a luxury private island property in the Seychelles. This is a unique opportunity for a well-rounded hospitality professional to take on a leadership role in a remote, high-end environment, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse team across all departments Ensure operational efficiency across departments including front of house, housekeeping, and guest services Maintain and uphold luxury service standards and brand values Drive team performance through training, mentoring, and development initiatives Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns in a professional and proactive manner Work closely with department heads to ensure smooth coordination and communication Monitor budgets, costs, and overall financial performance in collaboration with the finance team Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar senior hospitality management role within an ultra-luxury property Proven remote island or hardship location experience is essential Pre-opening experience is a must Strong rooms division background (candidates from an F&B background will not be considered) Fluent in English and at least two additional languages, one of which must be German Additional languages such as Swiss German or Russian are highly advantageous Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of operational systems, including property management systems and general IT systems Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and interpret reports Personal Attributes: Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences Professional, well-presented, and approachable Strong coaching and mentoring ability Calm under pressure with a solutions-driven mindset Adaptable and able to thrive in a remote island environment Positive, proactive, and hands-on leadership style Additional Requirements: Single status only Must have excellent grooming and presentation standards Must be able to provide three written and contactable references Must be comfortable living and working in a remote island environment Must be easily accessible for travel, preferably with direct flight access to the Seychelles This is an exceptional opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to take on a rewarding leadership role in an exclusive island setting.
