Project Manager – Product Development & Industrialization

Project Manager – Product Development & Industrialization Location: Västerås, Sweden Start: May 2026 On-site We are looking for a Project Manager for an assignment in a global industrial environment, focusing on product development, industrialization, and product transfers between production sites. You will play a key role in driving projects at the interface between R&D and production, ensuring a smooth transition from development to manufacturing.

The assignment is part of a larger transformation journey, where new products and processes are introduced and implemented in production.

About the role

Lead and drive projects within product development and industrialization from initiation to delivery Be responsible for project planning, follow-up, and reporting (time, cost, quality) Drive product transfers between production sites and ensure a stable transition into production Ensure efficient implementation of new products and processes in manufacturing Coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, production, quality, and supply chain Identify risks and ensure mitigation actions are implemented Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle We are looking for someone who Has at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager within industrial or manufacturing environments Has experience working with NPI, product development, or product transfers Has a strong understanding of production and industrialization processes Is fluent in English (required) Has Swedish language skills (meritorious)
