Job Description We are seeking skilled and experienced engineers that can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to all tasks. A conscious and reliable team player, with a strong positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Working within the workshop team to refurbish a variety of recycling machinery.
Tasks are varied and include stripping down machinery, checking key components to determine viability, rebuilding, machine prep and spraying, providing a high-quality finish and final machine PDI’s. Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs on recycling machinery located at local customer sites. Complete and submit work sheets in a timely manner via our CRM system.
Complete housekeeping on a regular basis for office use. Comply with health & safety legislation, quality procedures, company policies and all other areas of compliance in a modern workshop.
Qualifications
and Skills Required The following qualifications and skills are required; however, full training will be provided where necessary: Qualified or experienced engineer, having a leading knowledge in either mechanical or hydraulic engineering. Strong communication skills are vital with the ability to liaise with members of staff, customers and suppliers in a professional manner.
A Full UK manual driving license is essential. FLT license desirable but not essential. Job Specifics / Benefits Salary range between £35,000 and £40,000 depending on experience. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime available depending on current business needs. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays as standard, with a loyalty scheme in place increasing to a maximum of 31 days plus bank holidays.
