Dental Assistant Trainee Program (DATP)

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Dental Assistant Trainee (DAT) Position is a paid SCF employee training that combines classroom instruction with intense hands-on clinical training. Through carefully guided training the DAT will learn to correctly assist the dental team and providers in chairside related duties in all aspects of General Dentistry.

Including, but not limited to preventive, restorative, surgical and endodontic treatment. With the help of instructors and mentors the DAT will learn the necessary skills and abilities to demonstrate proficiency to become a Dental Assistant I through progressively more independent work experiences and responsibilities.
