Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Planning (Overseas Automotive) Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies for overseas markets, ensuring alignment with global brand identity and local consumer insights. Lead brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market plans for new automotive models and campaigns. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and differentiate the brand in key regions.
- Product Communication Craft compelling product stories and value propositions that resonate with overseas audiences. Manage the development of product-related content (launch materials, brochures, website copy, videos, etc.) in collaboration with creative and product teams. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure consistent product messaging across all touchpoints.
- PR & Communications Build and maintain relationships with key international automotive, tech, and business media. Drive proactive PR campaigns, press releases, media briefings, and executive speaking engagements. Handle crisis communication and reputation management for overseas markets.
- Digital Marketing Plan and execute integrated digital campaigns across social media (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), search engines, and automotive platforms. Optimize paid media, SEO/SEM, and content marketing to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Analyze digital performance metrics and use data to refine strategies and ROI.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or integrated marketing, preferably in the automotive , mobility, or high-tech durable goods industry. Proven track record in overseas/export marketing – understanding of global consumer behavior, media landscapes, and cultural nuances.
Strong command of English (native or near-native). Basic Mandarin is a plus but not required. Excellent storytelling, presentation, and project management skills. Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, social listening, etc.) Nice-to-have: Experience working with Chinese automotive brands or international agencies in China.
Existing network of global automotive/tech media or KOLs. Knowledge of digital marketing platforms popular outside China (Meta, Google, TikTok, Twitter, etc.)
