Job Description – Planning Engineer Job Title: Planning Engineer Location: Kolkata Department: Construction & Site Engineering Experience: 5–8 Years CTC: Up to ₹15 LPA Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering Certification: PMP / Primavera Certification (Preferred, Not Mandatory) Age: 30–35 Years (Preferred) Preferred Industry Construction Infrastructure EPC Real Estate Civil Engineering Projects Job Summary We are looking for a Planning Engineer to manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring for construction projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Primavera P6/MS Project, project scheduling, risk management, and construction planning to ensure timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project. Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, procurement, and stakeholders. Manage project planning, resource allocation, and schedule optimization. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
Prepare project progress reports, MIS, and schedule updates. Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. 5–8 years of experience in project planning within the Construction/EPC/Infrastructure industry. Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project. Strong understanding of project scheduling, resource planning, and construction execution. PMP or Primavera Certification will be an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
