Digital Functional / Business Analyst – eCommerce

Job Title: Digital Functional / Business Analyst – eCommerce Location: Ghent, Belgium Experience: 3+ years Language: English-speaking About the Role We are looking for a Digital Functional / Business Analyst to support the development and rollout of a large-scale eCommerce platform for a leading online retail organization.

You will bridge business needs and technical solutions to ensure a seamless digital experience for both customers and internal users.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to define digital strategy and translate vision into actionable requirements
• Drive detailed requirements gathering, user stories and process documentation
• Analyze and optimize existing digital workflows to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and UX teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Support user acceptance testing, training and adoption activities to ensure successful change management
• Maintain product backlog and ensure priorities align with business goals
• Monitor project progress and help resolve issues to keep deliverables on track
• Contribute to continuous improvement for digital commerce capabilities Requirements
• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar functional/business analyst role within digital or eCommerce projects
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital customer journeys and retail processes
• Proven capability in gathering requirements, translating business needs into functional specifications and supporting implementation
• Experience with user adoption activities such as training, communication or UAT coordination
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with clear communication abilities
• Comfort working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus What We Offer
