Job description
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored to the publishing industry, focusing on book launches, author promotions, and reader engagement. Plan, create, and schedule high-quality, platform-specific content (posts, stories, reels, carousels, videos) that reflect the tone and branding of our publications.
Manage and grow our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Tik. Tok, ensuring consistent brand voice and visual identity. Execute and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns using Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads to drive traffic, increase book pre-orders, and expand audience reach.
Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (engagement rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, ROI) using analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social).
Requirements
3–5 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably within publishing, media, or content-driven industries. Hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns on Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads, including audience targeting, A/B testing, and performance optimization. Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Cap.
Cut, etc.) and social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social). Familiarity with book publishing cycles, literary trends, and the digital reading ecosystem is highly advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
