Job description
This position is responsible for providing investigative support to the department’s gun-violence reduction efforts, through data entry (and analysis), into various formats and databases; duties will include entering (acquiring) ballistics evidence into the Integrated Ballistic Identification System (IBIS), performing image and correlation reviews using the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN), and producing crime gun intelligence and leads for follow-up investigations; and perform related duties as assigned.
